519 BC-The Persian Achaemenid Empire conquered Sindh

 

540 BC- Mahavira the founder of Jainism is born.

 

537 BC- Cyrus the Persian campaigns west of the Indus River.

 

517 BC- Darius conquers the Indus River people.

480 BC- Buddhism is formed.

 

400 BC- Panini's Sutra, the earliest Sanskrit grammer, is written.

 

326 BC- Sindh is controlled by Alexander the Great for several decades.

 

313 BC- Ashoka becomes ruler and popularizes Buddhism during his reign.

 

305 BC- The Maurya conquer Sindh with help from Chandragupta.

 

251 BC- The Aryan Hindus occupy Celyon.

 

250 BC- Emperor Ashoka wages war against the kingdom of Kalinga.

 

248 BC- Ashoka makes Edicts to announce Buddhism in his empire.

 

184 BC- The Maurya dynasty ends when the last ruler is assassinated by an ambitious army commander.
